Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi Glory be to Him and extolled are His glorious attributes Who created all the sexual pairs of such things as the earth produces and of themselves – mankind – and of what they do not know – and yet to know and of what is beyond their mental perception and recognition Glory be to Him Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own kind, and of that which they know not. Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge. Glory be to Him, Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not. Glory be to Allah Who created the various types of plants and trees, and of the souls of people, as He created males and females, and other creations of Allah that people do not know of on land, sea and other places.
